About Stephen

A true pioneer in ecological living, Stephen is the founder of multiple thriving eco-villages in Costa Rica, including Punta Mona, La Ecovilla, Tacotal, and Alegria Village, communities designed to showcase sustainable living in action. As co-founder of Ecoversity and Envision Festival, he has inspired thousands through education, workshops, and immersive celebrations of conscious living.

His impact extends far beyond Costa Rica, Stephen has taught over 40+ Permaculture Design Courses and worked on projects ranging from Hollywood estates to wellness retreats and community farms, helping people increase biodiversity, nurture soil, and design regenerative projects. His work has been featured on TEDx, Netflix’s Down to Earth with Zac Efron, and various TV shows, making him a leading voice in permaculture and sustainable living.
