Ashtanga Yoga

In this Ashtanga Yoga class, Christina guides you through a dynamic and structured sequence inspired by the traditional method, while remaining accessible to all bodies and experience levels. Moving in harmony with the breath, the practice builds heat, strength, and flexibility, while inviting focus and presence. Each posture flows into the next, creating a steady rhythm that supports both physical awareness and inner stillness.

Modifications and variations are offered throughout, allowing you to move at your own pace and honor your body’s needs. A space to cultivate balance, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself through movement.

About

Raised in Greece by a ballet dancer mother, Christina developed early discipline and body awareness through rhythmic gymnastics. She discovered yoga in 2007 while living in London, and soon began traveling to India to deepen her practice. She began teaching in 2012, apprenticing with senior teachers at Triyoga in London, and later continued her studies at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore. In 2019, she was authorised (Level 2) by R. Sharath Jois.

Now based in Athens, she teaches classes and retreats both in person and online through her digital studio, Sóma. Her work invites students to connect with their intuition, using movement as a pathway to embodiment, self-expression, and healing.
