A pillar of the Colibri experience is the presence, music, prayers, and stories of the Indigenous Wisdom Keepers. We are deeply honored to welcome back the Yawanawá and Marubo Tribe. For many communing with these guardians of the Amazon, has been nothing short of life-affirming, soul-igniting, heart-healing magic: profound transformation catalyzed by authentic ancestral wisdom.

Exploited by rubber barons, then suppressed by missionaries, they endured generations of violence, displacement, and the outlawing of their language, songs, dances, and sacred traditions. But the spirit of the Yawanawá could not be extinguished.
