In this Capoeira workshop, Alfred invites you into a playful and powerful practice that blends dance, acrobatics, martial arts, and flow. Rooted in Afro-Brazilian tradition, Capoeira becomes a space to explore the body through rhythm, connection, and creativity.

Moving with music, you’ll be guided through kicks, ground movement, and partner-based exploration, where improvisation and presence take the lead. The practice encourages both strength and fluidity, inviting you to engage the body in a way that feels alive, responsive, and expressive.

This is not about perfection, but about participation.
A space to move, connect, and experience the joy of being in your body.

About

Alfred Kendrick is a movement artist, Capoeira expert, and fitness trainer with over 26 years of experience across performance, training, and creative work.

With a background in kinesiology and nutrition, as well as experience as an acrobat, hypnotherapist, and massage therapist, his work bridges physical intelligence with deeper awareness. He is the founder of Fit Arts and 4SX, and has collaborated with global brands and artists across music, film, and performance.

Through his teaching, Alfred brings a unique blend of discipline, play, and creativity, inviting people into movement as a form of expression, connection, and exploration.
