Wúo Taï: The Dance of the Fascias

Wùo Taï is a fluid, meditative bodywork practice that blends touch, movement, and presence. Rooted in osteopathy and inspired by dance, it invites the body into a liminal state—between waking and dreaming—where healing happens naturally. 

Fascia, the connective tissue that holds the body’s structure and stores physical and emotional memory, is central to this process.

Through gentle, spiraling gestures, Wùo Taï helps release tension, access to information stored in the connective tissues and restore flow. In this theta-wave state of deep relaxation, the fascia becomes more responsive, allowing old patterns to soften and the body to reconnect with its inner intelligence.

Riviera Ruiz is a movement facilitator and bodyworker from the Mexican Caribbean, specializing in Wùo Taï, aquatic bodywork, and dance. Her work centers on the fascia and its role in holding tension, memory, and emotion, blending anatomical knowledge with somatic awareness. Through her integrative practices, she supports physical and emotional release, inviting participants to explore the deep connection between body and psyche. By investigating how movement, memory, and emotion influence our experience, Riviera opens pathways to healing, authentic expression, and a deeper understanding of self through the wisdom of the body.
