Yawanawa Ancestral Healing

Yawanawa Ancestral Healing

Yawanawa ancestral healing is rooted in a living tradition that has been carried through generations of Indigenous wisdom keepers in the Brazilian Amazon.

During this private session, the healer works with sacred prayers, ancestral chants, spiritual blessings, and traditional healing practices that support harmony between body, mind, and spirit. Each session is guided by the unique needs of the individual and may focus on healing, protection, guidance, or blessings for a particular aspect of life.

The Yawanawa understand healing as a relationship between the visible and invisible worlds. Through the wisdom of the forest and the teachings passed down through their lineage, these sessions offer an opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a deeply meaningful and spiritual way.

Participants are invited to arrive with an open heart, humility, and a willingness to receive.

About Chief Nixiwaka Yawanawa

Chief Nixiwaka is one of the most respected Indigenous leaders of our time and a central figure in the preservation and revitalization of Yawanawa culture.

For decades, he has dedicated his life to reclaiming the ancestral traditions, spirituality, and territory of his people. Through years of strict spiritual initiations and studies with the elders, he has become a channel for healing and a guardian of Yawanawa wisdom.

Together with his family, Nixiwaka played a key role in opening Yawanawa culture to the wider world while maintaining a deep commitment to its integrity and traditions. He is also one of the founders of the annual Yawa Festival, a gathering that celebrates culture, spirituality, music, and community within the Yawanawa territory.

Today, much of his time is devoted to healing, spiritual practice, and carrying forward the teachings of the elders so that future generations may continue to benefit from their wisdom.
