Emotional Bodywork through Ayurveda Marmatherapy

Emotional Clinic through the Lenses of Ayurveda Marmatherapy offers a welcoming space for internal dialogue, grounded in the recognition of each individual’s personal history. In the present moment, psychomuscular behaviours, patterns, tendencies, and thought-forms—each carrying memories of these stories—can be observed as they inhabit our psychosphere.

Through compassionate touch, varying pressure, and different modalities of Breathwork, Gui gently opens the subtle body via vital points, allowing access to these memories and inner voices. This process invites the reframing of experience and the infusion of the body with new information and impressions. Elements of Chi Nei Tsang, Nuad Thai Massage ITM, and Deep Tissue techniques are integrated to support this transformative work.

Preparation

  • drink a warm tea 30 min before the session

  • have your last meal 2-3h before the session

  • try going to the toilet before the session

  • bring clothes and shoes to avoid cold exposure after

  • take a hot shower in the night after the session

Gui Alves is a brazilian world class multi-instrumentalist, joyful integrative music therapist and educator. Scientific researcher (UFRJ), Ayurveda and Yoga practitioner, has travelled over 12 countries offering concerts, workshops and retreats - using Music as platform for Human Connection.
