The art we create recreates and shapes us in return. This is so much more than just colours and paint. It’s a holistic experience, an initiation, a symbolic act of transformation. Using the body as a canvas allows both the artist and the receiver to connect and create in a playful way, which is also simultaneously liberating and meaningful by serving as an invitation to discover and embody latent qualities within oneself. Self expression, exploration and transformation are core to this process, a co-creation of the receiver and the artist. A great adventure to practice intuitive body painting to celebrate life and bringing out inner beauty through the artwork and whatever is looking to blossom forth in the moment.
ABOUT Lila
Lila Colours studied history of art and painting at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest. She is currently based in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
