Temazcal Semilla

Gabriel Amezcua

What awaits

Unlike traditional sweat lodges that focus on purification through descent, Temazcal Semilla follows a path of ascension, guiding participants from grounding to elevation. This ritual mirrors the growth of a seed into a thriving plant, aligning with the four elements as stages of creation: Earth – The Seed & IntentionGrounding and stability, planting the seed of transformation within fertile soil. Water – Nurturing & Emotional OpeningLove and nourishment soften the seed, allowing inner change to begin. Fire – Effort & TransformationHeat fuels growth, symbolizing release, forgiveness, and the will to evolve. Wind – Elevation & ExpansionThe breath of life, the plant breaking through the soil, expanding toward the sky. In Temazcal Semilla, the four elements are more than symbolic forces, they represent the fundamental states of matter that shape existence. This ceremony is not just about cleansing; it is an invitation to evolve, honoring the cycle of life as we move from seed to legacy. About Gabriel

About Gabriel

Gabriel Amezcua is a Mexican temazcalero, body therapist, and medical anthropologist based in Berlin. His work draws from over 20 years of experience in ritual practice, somatic therapy, and the study of traditional healing systems across the Americas. His path with the Temazcal began in Mexico, within traditional contexts, and has since evolved through influences from Mexica, Lakota, and Wirrarika practices. Rather than reproducing a fixed form, his approach is a respectful, living synthesis. His lodge, Temazcal Semilla, is centered on transformation through the elements, understood as forces of creation. The work goes beyond purification, focusing on growth, emotional opening, and integration.
