Free Expression Dance - Movement & Joy for Families

Free Expression Dance - Movement & Joy for Families
An open, joyful invitation to move, shake and express freely — no steps to follow, no rules to remember. Through music and guided movement, families are invited to loosen up, drop into their bodies and let dance do the talking. Whether big or small, shy or bold, everyone finds their own way to move in this playful, liberating space.
Additionally: Helena will be holding tea sessions and sharing her lovely products at the market — a little sanctuary within the festival where families can pause, breathe and be nourished.
About Helena

Throughout the festival, she will be present at the Colibri Market with her botanical products and will be offering daily Tea Ceremonies.
The concept of Free Expression Dance emerged several years ago when her own children were still very young. At a time when ecstatic dance gatherings were flourishing on the island, many parents longed for a space where they could dance freely together with their children rather than separately. Inspired by spontaneous dance sessions at home with her sons, Helena began developing a playful approach that invites children and parents to move, express, and connect through music and dance.
Drawing on her experience in performance and creative facilitation, Helena creates a safe and welcoming environment for both children and their parents, where there is no right or wrong way to move. Participants are encouraged to explore movement as a natural form of self-expression, connection, creativity, and joy.
Free Expression Dance celebrates movement as a language that belongs to every child—and every adult.
